About Our Gas Training Centre
Even though Technical Gas Training is the newest kid on the block, our trainers and assessors – who all live locally – are all highly qualified gas engineers with over thirty years individual experience in every aspect of the gas industry. Besides this, they also have a wealth of experience in the training and assessment to the requirements of the ACS curriculum, and dealing with the diverse levels of candidates. TGT’s aim is to process engineers through the sometimes challenging demands of ACS assessment with a minimum of fuss; whilst at the same time supporting the gas industry, and maintaining the highest possible standards within this service sector.
We realise that to maintain a high level of concentration and comfort engineers need regular breaks; to this end tea/coffee and lunch will be provided free of charge. Our new centre is located in Ferndown, just off the A31 and is easily accessed from all main routes.

Flexible Opening Hours
…we understand how frustrating and financially debilitating it can be to have to leave a five day window in a working month to complete an ACS assessment, or reassessment. With this in mind, Technical Gas Training has made a conscious decision to offer a limited number of quality training and assessment sessions during the evenings and weekends, thereby reducing the hours away from those allimportant paying assignments. Please note that there will be a high demand for ACS assessment places, especially those outside normal hours, so it is advisable to book your place as soon as possible allowing approximately 21 days for the paperwork to be processed.
