About Technical Gas Training...
We selected the NICEIC as our certification body and in doing so, Technical Gas Training has aligned itself with the market leader in certification in the UK. NICEIC has provided us with invaluable help and assistance and we are pleased to be associated with their fast developing Competent Persons and Micro-Generation Schemes.
Over the past two years, our policy of 'smaller classes' has been a tremendous success. A maximum number of 8 people on a course has complimented our belief that training and assessment should always be kept relaxed and stress free. Every candidate works at a different speed and by keeping the size of the classes down our trainers have more time to spend with each candidate.
All of our trainers and assessors live locally and are all highly qualified gas engineers with over 30 years individual experience in the gas industry. Besides this, they also have a wealth of experience in training and assessment to the very strict requirements of the ACS gas training curriculum and dealing with candidtaes at varying levels of experience.
The aim of Technical Gas Training is to process engineers through the sometimes challenging demands of ACS assessment with a minimum of fuss whilst at the same time supporting the gas industry and maintaining the highest possible standards within this service sector.
We realise that to maintain a high level of concentration and comfort engineers need regular breaks. To help facilitate this, tea/coffee and lunch is provided at no extra charge.
Technical Gas Training is also delighted to have been chosen by Glow-worm and Keston as a satellite training centre for their product training courses. Both manufacturers have been very proactive in supplying the assessment centre with numerous boilers and equipment to assist in the training and assessment process. We have also been selected by Veissmann to provide training facilities to their staff in this region.
Technical Gas Training is located in Ferndown, Dorset. Just off the A31 and easily accessed by all main routes.
