There is no requirement to undertake training prior to assessment.

**CPA1** New course and assessment

CPA1 is short for Combustion Performance Analysers and is the latest assessment to complement the ACS gas qualifications.

The one-day course will discuss the many functions of a Combustion Analyser, promote the use of an analyser when investigating the presence of Carbon Monoxide and demonstrate how to use the Analyser as an aid when commissioning and servicing gas appliances.

The  assessment will enable the successful candidate to demonstrate competence in the use of a Combustion Performance Analyser. This qualification is mandatory for all gas engineers that use an analyser in their day-to-day work.
