From February 1st 2010 it is a Gas Safe Register pre-requisite that any Gas Engineer who is undertaking an assessment or
re-assessment in either CEN 1 or HTR 1 MUST also undertake the CPA-1 assessment.

The National Accredited Certification Scheme for gas fitting operatives (ACS) provides a route for gas engineers to prove their competence in gas work prior to registering with GAS SAFE. Membership of an approved body (GAS SAFE) is a mandatory requirement for most persons carrying out gas related work and all engineers are required to take and pass ACS gas assessments relative to the areas of work they undertake every five years.

TGT are able to offer a wide range of ACS assessments including initial core assessment, core re-assessment, appliance assessments and a range of changeover assessment from natural gas to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). We also offer a range of related non-gas traing courses and assessments.

TGT is an approved NICEIB Gas Training and Gas Assessment Centre. Our Gas Centre is purpose built and equipped to the latest Government guidelines so that we are able to meet all of your ACS gas training needs and can also provide the initial or refresher training you may require.
Our in depth pre-ACS revision and refresher course are designed to bring GAS SAFE registered installers right up to date with any technical or legislative changes that may have occurred within the industry since they last achieved ACS certification.
We also offer bespoke training courses to meet clients specific requirements. We can undertake training or refresher courses for small groups, or on a one to one basis. Some engineers find this invaluable if they are not comfortable when working in large groups.
