This changeover will allow you to convert your commercial gas safety core to a domestic gas safety core. Upon completion of this changeover core you will be eligible to complete domestic appliance assessments.

It is not currently legislated whether a commercial engineer can work upon domestic appliances within a commercial environment. Engineers are expecting to carry out individual risk assessments of their environments. Here at TGT we believe that it is safer and better practice to ensure that you have the most thorough underpinning for working on the domestic appliances. Thus our professional recommendation is that you undertake either CCN1 or this changeover, CoCDN1, along with the relevant appliance assessment before undertaking any work on domestic appliances in a commercial environment or anywhere.
