COMCAT Group 5 Catering Appliances, as the titles suggest provides for what you’ll need to know in order to safely install, service and repair Forced Draught Boilers. Broadly, the course covers the following knowledge areas.
- Checking the intended installation sites.
- The gas connection and supply pipes
- Securing the forced draught boiler correctly
- Ventilation requirements
- Tightness testing
- Gas rating & operating pressures
- Commissioning and testing the appliances
- Unsafe situations
- Other ‘site specific’ checks and tests
This assessment usually follows our Commercial Catering Training Day and can be completed in 1 day if not half a day.
